Requesting acceptance of, and approval to expend, a $750,000 grant with no new match required, from MA Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs to the Public Space and Urban Forestry Division for costs related to Conway Park remediation and construction.

To the Honorable City Council: I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept and approve expending a grant of $750,000 from MA Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs to the OSPCD PSUF department, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to reimburse costs related to the remediation and construction of Conway park.
