To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept Mass. General Laws, Chapter 64G, Section 3D(b). Adoption of this law would permit the City to impose the community impact fee allowed under Section 3D(a) of G.L. c. 64G, upon the transfer of occupancy of a short-term rental unit located within a two- or three-family dwelling that includes the operator’s primary residence.
