To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully conveys to this Council the updated 2024 Surveillance Technology Annual Report pursuant to Sec. 10-66 of Article III of Chapter 10 of the Somerville Code of Ordinances. Changes were made to the Homeland Security Cameras, Advanced/NextGen 911, ShotSpotter, FLIR MC300C Marine Camera, and Thermal Imaging Cameras annual reports for clarity, after discussion with the Somerville Police Department, Somerville Fire Department, and Legislative Matters Committee Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have.
