To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council, under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B § 15, authorize the Mayor or her designee to dispose of a tangible supply, having resale or salvage value, at less than fair market value to a charitable organization which has received a tax exemption from the United States by reason of its charitable nature. The purpose of this vote is to authorize the City of Somerville to donate to a charitable organization, or otherwise dispose of bicycles previously noticed and deemed to be abandoned.
