Requesting approval to accept and expend a $119,095.58 grant with no new match required, from the MA Department of Public Health to the Health and Human Services Department for public health services.

To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a grant of $119,095.58 from the MA Department of Public Health to the Health and Human Services Department, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for Public Health Services at the local and regional level regarding homelessness engagement such as meal vouchers, kits, and housing search clinics.
