Requesting the appropriation of $240,664.10 from the Receipts Reserved-Transportation Network Company Revenue Fund to the Transportation Network Company Special Revenue Fund for Vision Zero safety efforts.

To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $240,664.10 from the Receipts Reserved-Transportation Network Company Revenue Fund (Fund 3209) to the Transportation Network Company Special Revenue Fund (Fund 3707) for Vision Zero Safety efforts. The purpose of this appropriation is to pay for Vision Zero road safety efforts, including but not limited to installing protected bicycle facilities, traffic calming and pedestrian safety investments at various locations. The amount of $240,664.10 represents the FY26 distribution of Transportation Network Companies Revenue to the City of Somerville.
