Requesting the appropriation of $67,000 from the Unreserved Fund Balance ("Free Cash") to the Executive Department Special Items Account for Mayoral transition expenditures.

To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $67,000 from the Unreserved Fund Balance ("Free Cash") to the Executive Department, Special Items Account (0112160) for the purpose of funding Mayoral Transition expenditures. Transition expenses include $42,000 for two positions to be hired immediately to facilitate the transition process; $9,000 for communications; $3,000 for community outreach; $3,000 for 6 interns; and $10,000 for technical assistance.
