To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $3,500,000 from the Unreserved Fund Balance ("Free Cash") to the Law Department Judgments and Settlements Account (0199052-576000), for the purpose of settling pending eminent domain litigation involving 191 Highland Avenue/The Armory (Joseph A. Sater, Trustee of Highland Armory Realty Trust v. City of Somerville, Middlesex Superior Court, No. 2181CV03261). Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have.
