Requesting the appropriation of $384,000 from the Salary & Wage Stabilization Fund to the Police Department - Other Lump Sum Payment Account to fund a collective bargaining agreement with the Somerville Police Superior Officers Association.

To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the transfer and appropriation of $384,000 from the Salary & Wage Stabilization Fund [7112] to the Police - Other Lump Sum Payments Account [0121051-519013], to fund a collective bargaining agreement with the Somerville Police Superior Officers Association. This appropriation fund payment for hours worked in FY25 through May FY26. Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
