In support of meeting spaces for Alcoholics Anonymous.

WHEREAS: Stable, supportive meeting spaces are important to people maintaining sobriety; and WHEREAS: The Ralph and Jenny Center was donated to the City of Somerville; and WHEREAS: Alcoholics Anonymous meetings formerly held at the Ralph and Jenny Center may no longer be held at the facility; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Somerville City Council requests that the Office of Strategy and Development identify means by which the city may support Alcoholics Anonymous meeting locations in Somerville in light of that loss of access.
