To the Honorable City Council: At the request of the Chair of the Committee on Finance, I hereby request permission for members of the Law Department to appear before the City Council in executive session, pursuant to G. L. c. 30A, Section 21(a)(3). Discussion in the open session of the council meeting may have a detrimental effect on the City of Somerville's negotiating position and litigation strategy.
