To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $2,041,000 from the Unreserved Fund Balance ("Free Cash") to the Facility Renovation and Reconstruction Stabilization Fund for the purpose of minor renovations at the Edgerly School to accommodate the Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms in the building (relocating from the Capuano school) allowing the Winter Hill School community to be together. The appropriation also covers other small modifications and the Playworks services. Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have.
