Requesting the appropriation of $21,398,392 to fund the FY 2025 Water Enterprise Fund budget.

To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the appropriation of $21,398,392 for the purpose of funding the FY2025 Water Enterprise Fund Budget. The Water Enterprise Fund Budget is broken down into the attached appropriations in the categories of Personal Services, Ordinary Maintenance, Special Items, Capital Outlay, and Debt Service. Sufficient revenues shall be raised from charges to meet said appropriation which includes an estimated $815,923 in indirect costs for charges currently carried in the General Fund to support Water Enterprise activities.A total of $1,432,778 in Retained Earnings will also be appropriated to subsidize the FY2025 Budget.
