    That the Administration report to this Council on the ability to require further repairs on Highland Ave, and if none, an explanation on whether that complies with road engineering regulations.

Councilor Gomez Mouakad requested information regarding the engineering background for the repaving project, including information about whether there is a delay so the road can settle before it is paved, and whether truck traffic is impacting the condition of the road. Chair Clingan added that it should also address questions as to the role of utility companies and any waiting periods that may exist with them.\par \par Legislative Liaison Carrillo asked for clarification regarding what was meant by \ldblquote further repair\rdblquote in this Item, and Councilor Gomez Mouakad replied that part of the information being requested pertains to the way patchwork paving is done and if there are MassDOT and/or city standards that will be applied to the work on Highland Avenue.\cf1\f1\par }

Councilor Gomez Mouakad added that there would be difficulty prioritizing Murdock Street due to issues with gravity and the way water flows in the area; Legislative Liaison Carrillo agreed and also added that Director Raiche is planning to address this Committee on the issue.\cf1\f1\par }

Director Postlewaite stated that a follow up communication with Councilor McLaughlin would take place in response to this Item.\cf1\f1\par }
