Requesting approval to accept and expend a $75,000 grant with no new match required, from the MA Department of Elementary & Secondary Education to the Health and Human Services SomerPromise Division for LGBTQIA Out-of-School Time Youth Programming.

To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a grant of $75,000.00 from Department of Elementary & Secondary Education to the HHS - Somerpromise, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new match funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for Art Haus Prep and Facilitation, Drop in Prep and Facilitation, Designing of promotional materials, flyering, Multi Gen Prep and Facilitation, Overarching Program Coordination and Design, LGBTQIA Events, All She Wrote books and Student Design OST Programming.
