To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $100,000 from Water Enterprise Fund Retained Earnings as certified as of July 1, 2024 for the purpose of satisfying a court judgment in the matter of Highland CBD v. City of Somerville. An explanatory memo from Deputy City Solicitor, David Shapiro, is attached. Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have.
