To the Honorable City Council: The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the transfer of $1,472,992 from the Salary Contingency Account 0199951-511000 to various departmental Personal Services Accounts listed in the attached table to fund a collective bargaining settlement with the Somerville Municipal Employees Union, Unit B. This appropriation represents funds needed for staffing in FY25 starting February 17th through the end of the fiscal year. Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have.
